Why go with a mobile service instead of a service center or dealership?

  • There’s a ton of benefits choosing Mobile RV Repair. First the convenience of having a Master Certified & Insured technician arrive on-site wherever your RV is located at your house, campsite, or storage location. With a service center you must spend hours of your day to deliver your RV to be repaired or serviced and more time to pickup. Where your RV will sit on often unsupervised lots waiting to have issues diagnosed then parts ordered then repaired. This process can take months to complete depriving you of your RV. With a Mobile RV Repair service our trained technicians show up at the agreed scheduled time and date with the necessary knowledge and tools to resolve majority of your RV related issues and service. There’s no months of waiting as we make you our priority often diagnosing and repairing the issues first visit. We offer transparency as you can watch our technicians work getting detailed information every step of the process. Know who is working on your RV, when dropped off at a dealership or service center often your only point of contact is a service writer or manager… rarely are you given the opportunity to speak and interact with the technician who will be ordering parts, repairing or servicing your RV.

Are your technicians Certified or Insured?

  • We are both! Our Technicians are certified through Recreational Vehicle Service Academy (RVSA). After years of experience now Master Certified through RVSA. Additionally we are fully insured for both liability and property. Rest assured we are in the business to offer our customers premier service giving them peace of mind we are both FULLY Certified and Insured!

Do you do any Warranty Work Manufacturer or Extended?

  • The short answer: No. We recommend those who wish to get repairs done through manufacturer warranty to return to the dealer they purchased the rv or a dedicated service center. We also do not provide warranty work under extended warranty companies. We do not offer any manufacturer warranty repair work for anything that wasn’t sold by GSO Mobile RV Repair such as appliances or parts. We offer a standard 30 day labor warranty after repair or installation. After the labor warranty expires it is the manufacturers applicable warranty which may or may not pay labor for replacement or repair but just provided replacement parts.

Do you provide mobile oil changes, engine work, motorized chassis repair, or Generator repair?

  • GSO Mobile RV Repair does not offer any engine, oil, or motorized chassis repair such as tires, brakes, etc on RV’s that are motorized such as A Class / B Class / C Class. We do not offer generator repair and recommend manufacturer service center such as Cummins.

Do you do structural work like replacing RV walls or a roof?

  • Short Answer: No. We perform routine maintenance to extend the life of your RV so structural issues don’t occur from water damage also known as preventative maintenance. However, we recommend a shop environment for replacing soft/rotten floors, roofs, walls. You can find a list of independent shops on our Services page at the bottom.

Do you have an indoor shop or a physicial location to drop off an RV?

  • We are 100% mobile and DO NOT have shop or a physical location to drop off your RV and have it serviced. We come to you and service / repair your RV at your home, campground, or storage unit. If you are outside our service area which includes Greensboro, Burlington, Mebane, & Siler City and are able to relocate your RV, you can book an RV park or campground within our service area. Can I provide my own parts for you to install or use for repair?

  • Short answer: No. Due to liability and warranty we do not use customer provided parts. Too many instances driving 45 minutes one way only to find the customer had purchased the incorrect part. We use quality OEM and aftermarket parts.

What Qualifications do you have for RV repair?

  • Charlie Chambers (Lead Technician) completed 394 hours in class training at one of the oldest and known training facilities RVSA going back and completing an additional 8 hours training after 2 years to receive Master RV Technician certification. To maintain certifications Charlie must complete 20 hours of continued education each year. His certification is required for our liability insurance. He specializes in complex and difficult electrical and multi-plex (one control, in command, firefly, BM pro) diagnostic and repair. One of the few technicians that takes a difficult problem head on finding a solution where others have given up or lack the knowledge and experience to solve. We recommend to any prospective customer to only have an insured and certified RV technician work on your RV. A person who isn’t certified is a liability and may not be up to date on all the new RVIA codes, regulations, and nuances.

Can I help you repair my RV?

  • We encourage our customers to observe our technicians but giving them the space needed to safely work. Due to liability we do not allow our technicians to allow customers to assist during repairs.

Do you offer Active Military, First Responders Discount?

  • GSO Mobile RV Repair has the utmost respect and appreciation for our First Responders, Active Military and offer a 10% discount which can be applied at request and provided identification.

Do you offer any other discounts?

  • As of January 2023 we currently do not offer any other discount beyond for our Active Military & First Responders. We do however offer a 10% discount with supplied flier, be sure to keep an eye out at your RV park store for our fliers or also supplied by our technicians after first visit!
